Direct answer

How does ADHD Path use my personal information?

We collect and use your personal and health information to provide safe ADHD assessment and care, to meet our legal and regulatory duties, and — only with your consent — to contact you about our services. We keep it secure, share it only where necessary for your care or where the law requires, and you have rights over it under UK GDPR.

  • Data controller: High Street Health Ltd t/a Ready Health
  • Health data used to provide your care
  • Shared with your GP only where appropriate
  • Kept secure and only as long as required
  • You can access, correct or ask about your data
  • ICO registration: ZB729645

Who we are

ADHD Path services are provided by High Street Health Ltd, trading as Ready Health (Companies House 15044189), 22 High Street, Standish, Wigan WN6 0HL. We are the data controller for the personal information we hold about you.

ICO registration number: ZB729645. Data protection lead: Shamir Patel, Registered Manager — contact hello@adhdpath.co.uk (marked 'Data protection') or write to the address above.

What information we collect

We collect the information needed to assess and care for you safely.

  • Contact details: name, address, date of birth, phone and email
  • Health information: symptoms, medical and developmental history, questionnaires, assessment notes, reports and prescriptions
  • Information from others with your consent: parents or carers, schools, your GP or other professionals
  • Payment and booking records (bookings are managed through our booking system, Semble)
  • If you use our online screening questionnaire and choose to leave your details, your answers and contact details

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your health information to provide your assessment, diagnosis and treatment (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) contract and Article 9(2)(h) provision of health care). We keep records to meet our legal and regulatory obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

We only contact you about our services after a screening questionnaire, or for marketing, where you have given consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed for your care or where the law requires it: for example with your NHS GP (such as your assessment outcome or a shared care request), our partner pharmacy Pharmacare (GPhC premises 9012877) to dispense prescriptions you ask us to send there, and trusted IT, booking and email providers who process data on our behalf under contract. We will share information without consent only where there is a legal duty or a safeguarding concern.

How long we keep it

We keep health records for the periods recommended for healthcare records in England — for adults usually 8 years after the last contact, and for children until their 25th birthday (or 26th if they were 17 when treatment ended). We follow the NHS England Records Management Code of Practice (2023) for retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Some rights, such as deletion, are limited for health records we are legally required to keep.

  • Make a request by contacting us on 01257 676001 or in writing to Ready Health, 22 High Street, Standish, Wigan WN6 0HL
  • We respond within one month
  • If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113)

Our website

Our website uses essential cookies so it works properly. Our 'Ask ADHD Path' assistant stores the questions asked (not your name) so we can improve our information; please do not enter personal health details into it.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential storage so the site works (for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping staff signed in). These are always on.

With your consent only, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) to understand which pages are useful, Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland) to see anonymised interaction patterns so we can improve accessibility and usability, and Google Ads conversion measurement to know whether our adverts lead to bookings. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you choose 'Accept' in the cookie banner.

We do not send your screening answers, assistant questions or health information to analytics providers. Analytics records events such as 'booking completed', 'phone number tapped' or 'screening questionnaire completed' without the content.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using 'Cookie settings' in the footer of every page.

  • _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics) — up to 2 years — analytics consent
  • _clck, _clsk, CLID (Microsoft Clarity) — up to 1 year — analytics consent
  • _gcl_* (Google Ads conversion) — up to 90 days — marketing consent
  • adhdpath_consent_v1 (local storage) — 12 months — essential, stores your choice
